Research Opportunity – COPPER Laborartory! 
 

COPPER Lab is looking to add some undergraduate students to their team! COPPER Lab has two PIs: Dr. Black (MD, PhD) and Dr. Whitson (MD, PhD). Their main research goal revolves around organ transplantation and aims to mitigate reperfusion injuries in heart, lungs, and livers and improve upon the quality of donor organs.

They are looking for undergraduate students interested in helping with the care of their animal colonies (mice and rats)! This is a perfect gateway opportunity into more animal experiences for vet school applications, and there are opportunities to branch out into other research tasks as well!
